My Process

For these sweet panda earrings I start with an original idea. My designs are inspired by the things I love; ridiculously cute pandas! I create an svg file using a graphic design software. Once I have my little pandas just right I use my Glowforge laser printer to cut, engrave, and score my design onto whatever material I am using. 

These panda studs are laser cut from 1/8 inch Baltic Birch. I seal these wooden earrings with my own organic beeswax and coconut oil finish. This finish helps protect against normal wear and tear from regular handling and provides a small measure of water repelling ability. I think it also brings out the natural beauty in the wood, giving the earrings a warm, woodsy feel. The earring post and backing are made of hypoallergenic stainless steel; great for sensitive skin. These earrings are also lightweight, making them ideal for daily wear.  

Care Instructions

Handmade items last longest when properly cared for. Handle gently and store in a cool, dry space. These earrings are water resistant, not waterproof. It is best to remove them before showering or swimming.
